CV210 110-210-000-033 Velocity Transducer
Description:
This low-frequency measuring system is suitable folthe special requirementsof hydraulic turbomachinery. Hydro machines generally operate at lowspeed, between 60 and 1000 RPM.The CV 210velocity transducer is principally recommended forvibration measurements in this frequency range (1 Hzto 20 Hz).
Good sensitivity and rugged design make the CV 210suitable for all types of industrial low speedmachinery. Its stainless steel case and watertightsealed connector allow it to withstand damp andcorrosive environments. In very harsh industriaenvironments, the transducer should be fitted with itscable assembly protected by a flexible metal sheath. An optional TA 114 mounting adapter is available torigidly clamp the transducer to the machine.
The sensing element of the transducer is a coilmoving around a permanent magnet, which producesa voltage directly proportional to the vibration velocityThe CV 210 does not require an external powersource. The IVC 632 signal conditioner is an integral part of the system and is always used with theCV 210 velocity transducer. The two devices areconnected by an ED 109 or ED 112 cable assembly. The conditioner contains electronic circuitry thatprovides low-frequency compensation to allow thetransducer to operate below its resonant frequency.
