Description:
5466-355 is designed as Woodward NETCON REMOTE CHASSIS TRANSCEIVER.
5466-355 receives and sends control, data, and addressinformation via cable to and from its associated Main XCVR module. Thismodule must be used in each Remote l/O Chassis that is connected to theMain Chassis via copper cables.
5466-355 connects to the VME bus of the chassis. The busreceiver/driver of the Remote Transceiver module interfaces with the VMEbus, exchanging control, data, and address information. The chassis decoderdetermines if this chassis is to be accessed, and if so, it activates thereceiver/driver of this chassis' Remote Transceiver module to receive or sendinformation.Figure 7-11 is a block diagram of the Remote Transceivermodule.
