Description:
DSAI 130 (57120001-P) is designed as ABB Advant OCS S100 system analog input board. The S100 I/0 consists of several 1/0 boards, internal cables, and connection units covering awide variety of applications and specific needs.
The 1/0 boards are divided into groups, depending on their function. Within each group, thereare several 1/0 boards with differing functionality and complexityThere are 6 types of analog input boards are used in the advant I/O system.
The boards are provided with a number of channels. Interference suppression, filtration andadaptation of the signal with respect to zero point and gain are performed individually in abuffer amplifier. The A/D converter is multiplexed between the input channels. An inputchannel is selected by the controller software by writing to a parameter register, which alsostarts the A/D conversion. The value, converted to digital form, is then transferred via the parallel databus to the controller software for further signal processing.
